Kathmandu, March 15: The Commission constituted to investigate gold smuggling has suspected possible involvement of ex-speaker and senior Maoist Center leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara.  According to highly placed sources, the commission formed under the chair of ex-justice Dilliraj Acharya has suspected Mahara of being involved in gold smuggling.  The commission had grilled Mahara earlier.  Mahahara's son, Rahul Mahara, is under judiciary arrest on the charge of being involved in gold smuggling.  The commission submitted its report to DPM and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane on Thursday. Lamichhane has handed over the report to Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal and consulted with him on the implementation of the report.   People’s News Monitoring Service.
