Kathmandu, 22 December: Newly elected MPs of the House of Representatives have taken the oath of office today. Eldest MP Pashupati Shumsher Rana administered the oath of office to the MPs.  There are 275 MPs in Parliament, however, 17 MPs were absent at today’s oath-taking ceremony held at the Parliament building this afternoon.  People’s News Monitoring Service
