
Kathmandu, 22 December: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who has been unanimously elected Dahal as its parliamentary party leader today, is holding discussions with Prime Minister and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal claiming his stake to lead the government.
At the meeting of the parliamentary party held this afternoon, Dahal informed that the time has been fixed to discuss with Prime Minister and Congress President Deuba and Chairman of CPN (US) for the evening. Dahal briefed the parliamentarians that coalition partners were preparing to form the new government by December 25.
It may be noted that President Bidya Devi Bhandari, on December 18, had given political parties seven days to form the next government as per Article 76(2) of the Constitution of Nepal, by 5 pm next Sunday.
