Kathmandu, 30 November: Vote counting of the federal parliament and provincial assemblies has almost been completed. In three districts, vote counting has been postponed. The Election Commission has decided to conduct another vote in the Dolakha district, however, it has asked to start vote counting in Syangja-2 and Bajura. The vote counting of the proportional election has also almost been completed. After the complete result of all the districts, the Commission will submit the report to the President and the new government should be formed within 30 days of the report submitted by the Commission to the President.  Until now, the possibility of continuation of the present five-party alliance is high as there is less possibility of formation of the alliance government of the NC and UML. The election result has given the mandate for the formation of a coalition government dominated by small parties. The same situation has been seen in provincial assemblies also. On the other hand, power-sharing along with sharing the posts of the president, VP, speaker and deputy speaker, among other have become a vital issue. Who becomes the next PM, it is said that a silent agreement has been made between Sher Bahadur Deuba and Pushpakamal Dahal. Meanwhile, regarding who to become the President and VP, a section in the NC is against handing over the posts to the Maoist Center. The unified Socialist Party is also eying on the President’s post. J.N. Khanal, who was defeated in the election for the post of member of the House of Representatives, has said that he has not given up the claim for the presidential position.  People’s News Monitoring Service
