
Kathmandu, 13 November: Workers of the ruling alliance have attacked the campaign team of Ravi Lamichhane, Chairman of the National Independent Party, who is contesting for the House of Representatives in Chitwan constituency- 2. A car used for election campaign has been vandalized and some activists and campaigners of the party have been beaten up, according to reports.
Bagmati Police Chief DIG Kiran Bajcharya said that there was an altercation between Ravi Lamichhane and the workers of the ruling coalition in Chitwan during the door-to-door campaign. A dispute had arisen after Ravi's workers called the workers of the alliance 'the losers'.
