[caption id="attachment_51471" align="alignnone" width="1040"] File Photo[/caption] Kathmandu, 17 October: Following the death of sportsperson Nisim Thapa, 26, during the cross-country competition of paragliding under the 9th National Games ongoing in Pokhara on Sunday, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has banned paragliding across the country until the services are further streamlined and more safety ensured. The CAAN has stated that paragliding was suspended until another provision was put in place to further strengthening the security system in it as well as to manage policies, rules and laws relating to paragliding flight.
