Kathmandu, 12 October: Dipak Manange, who had filed candidature to the post of the member of the Gandaki Province Assembly from Manang “Kha”, has been elected unopposed as no other parties and individuals filed candidature to the post.  Dorje Lama had filed candidature as an independent candidate but he has applied to the Election Commission for withdrawing his candidature. However, the Election Commission is yet to take a formal decision on Manange’s victory.  People’s News Monitoring Service
