Kathmandu, 10 October:  President of  Nepali Congress has attached utmost priority to the crime and  corruption-alleged candidates for the November 20 elections. He has given ticket to contest elections to Bijay Gachchdar, who was suspended in the last parliament on corruption charges.  Similarly, Firdosh Alam, the son of Mohammed Aftaw Alam, who is in jail on criminal charges, also got a ticket from Rautahat, but the Congress leadership did not give candidature to Minendra Rizal and Swarnim Wagle. There is deep dissatisfaction within the party when Gachchdar, who is facing a corruption case, is given the ticket again. On the other hand, all those who won the election earlier got the ticket but Congress leadership did not give ticket to Rijal. This time, Sujata Koirala has been nominated in place of Rijal, who was elected in Morang-2 against the Left Alliance in the last parliamentary elections. People's News Monitoring Service
