Kathmandu, 6 October: The meeting of the five-party ruling alliance at Baluatar on Wednesday ended inconclusively. The alliance partners had held separate meetings with the partners even though the partners didn’t reach an agreement on seat sharing. The next meeting is set for today at 10 am to finalize the deal. NC representative in the alliance action committee, Krishna Shitaula, had proposed 85 to 87 seats for the NC, 45 to 50 seats for the Maoist Center, 17 seats for the Unified Socialist, 15 seats for the Janata Samajbadi Party and 2 seats for the Rastriya Janamorcha for the federal parliament. The US and JSP have expressed dissatisfaction with the present proposal.
