Kathmandu, 6 October: Nepal Police on Thursday arrested rape-accused cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Lamichhane was returning from the Qatar Airways flight this morning. He was arrested at the airport upon his arrival and kept at the Gausala Police Post.  Lamichhane, a suspended caption of the Nepal Cricrate Team has claimed that he is innocent and faces a legal case. A minor girl had filed a rape complaint against Lamichhane while he was abroad playing tournaments. People’s News Monitoring Service
