NC’s anti-establishment faction demands 40 per cent share
Kathmandu, 6 October: The dissatisfaction faction in the Nepali Congress led by Dr Sekhar Koirala has demanded a 40 per cent share in the upcoming 20 November election.
At the meeting held at a party banquet in Kathmandu today, the dissatisfied faction demanded a 40 per cent share while distributing the election tickets for the 20 November election. If their demand will not be responded by party president Sher Bahadur Deuba, the dissatisfied faction may revolt in the party, this faction has warned.
The dissatisfied faction is blaming the establishment faction for taking decisions one-sidedly. They have expressed dissatisfaction with the nomination of the candidates for the proportional election.
