Kathmandu, 3 October: Above 1.7 million people left Kathmandu to observe the Dasain festival with their families outside the Valley. According to reports by 2 October, above 1.7 people have left Kathmandu and the Traffic Police has expected leaving of above 2 million people before the Dasain Tika on Wednesday.  The busy Kathmandu roads have become almost free of vehicles as people left for their homes. The number of people leaving for their homes has increased this year as due to the Covid-19 pandemic for the last two years, they were compelled to stay in Kathmandu.  People’s News Monitoring Service
