
Kathmandu, 24 September: It has been agreed to extend the term of the expert group formed to finalize the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the Pancheshwar multi-purpose project between Nepal and India till next March.
The Ministry of Energy said that the agreement was reached at the meeting of the Joint Water Resources Committee, a mechanism established between Nepal and India for cooperation in the field of water resources. According to the Ministry, the fourth meeting of the expert group formed to finalize the DPR of the Pancheshwar project has also been agreed to be completed within the next 3 months.
