Kathmandu, 22 September: The Rotary International District-3292 (Nepal-Bhutan) today honoured 12 journalists with the Rotary Journo Award for the year 2021-2022 in various categories. Among the awardees are Sharachchandra Bhandary, Head of International News Department at official News Agency-RSS for Economic Journalism. The award  carries a purse of Rs 25,000. Bhandary has been active in journalism since mid nineties beginning his career with People's Review Weekly. He has been covering diplomacy, international relations and national politics  including economic journalism. Occasionally, he has been contributing to People's Review. Likewise, Sheshkant Pandit for Education, Praveen Dhakal for Health, Mithilesh Yadav for Environment, and Durga Devkota for Women and Development.Arjun Kumar Acharya from Province 1, Neha Jha from Madhes Province, Navaraj Chhatkuli from Bagmati, Kopila Kandel from Gandaki, Dilaram Bhusal from Lumbini, Sarita Chalaune from Karnali and Harka Bahadur BK from Sudurpaschim Province were awarded.
