We don’t say suspended chief justice Cholendra S Rana is a clean person but he became the chief justice in the system introduced by the present constitution, which is written by the very leaders who are in power today.
Rana faced an impeachment case when the leaders in the present five-party alliance government could not trust him. All the political leaders are categorized as thieves and involved in rampant corruption and commission deals, they could not feel secure from Rana like the chief justice.
Rana, on the other hand, wished to face an impeachment case and became ready to reply to the charges made against him. In this course, he has made naked the supreme leaders of different political parties and malpractice taking place in the court.
Rana is seen alone today but he has disclosed all the things taking place behind the curtail in Nepali politics.
Proportional election
The proportional election is a good system for electing a good party but in Nepal, this election has become a bumper prize for the supreme leaders of the political parties. They can include their wives, relatives and those who offer good prices to get elected from the proportional seats.
Many businessmen are seen as interested in politics. They buy seats and become the MP, if possible, the minister. This time, when the political parties submitted the candidates’ list, the same happened. Loktantra is beautiful!
The prestige of the national medals
This year also, on the occasion of constitution day, 19 September, the government distributed medals to different dignitaries. We don’t say all were not qualified to receive the medal, but some of them were decorated with the medal just being the wives and relatives of the leaders. Oddly, the Home Ministry officials dominated the recipient of the medal as the list was prepared by the very Ministry officials.
QUOTES OF THE WEEK
For three and a half years, the Oli government could not deliver the people's expectations. Deuba, who replaced Oli, has also failed to address the people's needs. The House of Representatives, the highest body of the people, ended on Saturday midnight, leaving several laws incomplete.

- The Nepalese are not only happy to find the 150-year-old cave of Tukucha, but they are also happy with the hope of finding the billions of rupees allotted for the Maoist fighters, 6 billion rupees of Wide Body aircraft, 33 kg gold and the government royalty misused by the Yeti and Ncell, and disposal of the government-owned factories. If the rapists and killers of Nirmala and Bhagawati are found, they will really become very happy.
Aastha Nepal
- Tukucha is still open on the Royal Palace premises. The act of disappearing the map of Tukucha and making Lalpurja (land ownership certificate) was started after 1990 under the cover of the Shukumbasi Commission. 2500 plus ropanis of the public land have been encroached in the capital by issuing the fake land ownership certificate.
Roshan Shiwakoti
Nepal is the country where a mobile set brought from a foreign country cannot function but if you bring a wife, she is eligible to get Nepali citizenship the next day!
Dipak Poudel
- The people are so happy when they located Tukucha. How happy will they become if restored the Janakpur Cigarette Factory, Hetaunda Cement, Trolley Bus, Biratnagar Jute Mill, Gorakhkali Tires, Basbari Shoes, which were disposed by the Congress and Communists! Let's hope, that some sons of Nepali mothers will be born.

- In one year, the market price has inclined by above 50 percent. The daily life of the people has become very difficult. Those in the government are busy collecting money for themselves. They have no interest in improving the economy affected by Corona, nor do they make any effort in controlling Dengue. How long should we tolerate such a useless government?
Om Kumar Thapa
- We must unite and save our country as the current political chaos has brought the country to the point of disintegration. Let's give up personal selfishness, and hypocrisy, let's save our country!

- Yesterday, when UML led the government, there were 49 ministers in 7 provinces.

- We have a culture of kicking deities and becoming leaders by chopping people.
It is our tradition to dethrone a king and make everyone in the family new kings.
We are ready to sacrifice our beliefs and thoughts just for vested interests.
It seems a little difficult to change such attitudes, but we believe that we can bring a change.
Rabindra Mishra
- Federalism has not been introduced in the people’s interests and the country’s needs. It is a system imposed by foreigners.
Raman Upadhaya
- Maybe since 2052, the followers of Loktantra try to escape by blaming the Maoists. But Maoists were democrats neither yesterday nor today.
Nepali Congress is responsible for this poor condition of the country and democracy. It was always ambiguous who he wanted among the king, UML and Maoists.
Muma Ram Khanal
- The most expensive constitution, drafted by the so-called four supreme leaders sitting in a dark room and said to have been approved by a crowd called the Constituent Assembly, has failed completely. Now the country is passing through chaos and terror.
