By Shristi Amatya The Armed Forces of Ukraine and nationalist battalions carry out genocide of the civilian population of Donbass. Ukrainian armed formations regularly launch artillery and rocket-bomb attacks with heavy weapons, including Tochka-U ballistic missiles, on densely populated areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as on the territories of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions liberated by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. It is important to note that the number of attacks on civilians has multiplied with the increase in the supply of Western weapons and military equipment to Ukraine. In particular, after the American M777 howitzers and HIMARS MLRS entered service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a record number of strikes on Donetsk and the nearest settlements were carried out over the past six years. The result of such criminal actions of Kiev was the death of hundreds of civilians, including children, massively destroyed urban infrastructure, schools, hospitals, kindergartens, etc. The Armed Forces of Ukraine use civilians as a "human shield". Ukrainian armed formations are equipping firing positions at civilian infrastructure facilities, including kindergartens, educational institutions, hospitals, and maternity hospitals. During the retreat and loss of control over populated areas, the AFU soldiers fired at residential buildings and the population hiding there from MLRS and artillery guns, to subsequently blame the Russian army for the destruction of cities and the death of civilians. Ukrainian soldiers completely ignore the requirements of the III Geneva Convention on the Treatment of Prisoners of War. This manifests itself in brutal violence, torture and mockery of Russian servicemen. At the same time, Kiev creates obstacles to monitoring compliance with the established norms by the International Committee of the Red Cross. During the withdrawal of Russian troops from the Kiev region, Ukrainian militants and mercenaries from the "Foreign Legion" captured several servicemen of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Federation, cut their throats and then finished them off with a shot to the head. Earlier, in the village of Malaya Rogan, Kharkiv region, militants of the "Kraken" detachment shot through the legs of captured Russian soldiers and left them to bleed, however, as in the previous case, war criminals were not brought to justice either by the Ukrainian authorities or by international human rights organizations. The country was overwhelmed by a wave of repressions of citizens dissatisfied with the policies of V. Zelensky and his supporters. The security forces, hiding behind the war, arrange executions of civilians without court approval, torture them and commit other illegal actions. In particular, Denis Kireev, a member of the negotiating group from Ukraine, as well as three members of the Patriots for Life movement, was killed by the Security Service of Ukraine officers during detention without trial and investigation. In addition, Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky was charged with treason for expressing expert assessments in the media, which the Security Service of Ukraine regarded as "pro-Russian". Kiev resorts to committing provocations and terrorist attacks on the territories liberated by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to intimidate the civilian population living there and provoke mass discontent. Recently, the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have increasingly attempted to strike at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and provoke the largest man-made disaster. It has become a common practice for the Ukrainian special services to kill representatives of civil-military administrations in the liberated territories of Ukraine, public figures and journalists inconvenient to the Kiev regime. Zelensky's regime releases dangerous criminals from prisons, who receive "indulgences" from the state in exchange for participation in hostilities, and after an armed conflict are not obliged to return to places of detention. In particular, V. Zelensky released the former commander of the «Tornado» company Ruslan Onishchenko, who was involved in the commission of murders, torture and rape of civilians in eastern Ukraine. The Ukrainian army has developed a stable attitude towards conscripts as "live meat": the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sends newly formed territorial defense units without the necessary training and equipment to the front line to preserve the most combat-ready units to continue resistance. To cut off the recruits' escape routes and prevent the surrender of the fighters, protective detachments were created by the militants of nationalist formations, who open fire to kill the recruits. In particular, after fire training by Russian servicemen, more than 30 fighters of the 54th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to stop resisting and lay down their weapons. However, the militants of the barrage squad opened a crossfire on the back of the surrendering soldiers, resulting in the death of 32 Ukrainian army soldiers. In addition, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ordered to eliminate the seriously wounded soldiers remaining on the battlefield during the retreat so that they would not be captured by the units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The leadership of Ukraine, apparently, fears that during the interrogation Ukrainian soldiers will tell the truth about the war crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
