Kathmandu, 1 September: The second day of statement of the suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana has concluded. The impeachment recommendation committee of the House of Representatives had started taking his statement from Wednesday. He was called at 11 o'clock today, saying that only the topic was introduced on Wednesday and there were too many questions, but the committee  started recording his  statement at 2 o'clock and he has been summoned for Sunday. Today, he  raised questions about the justification of the committee itself. He raised the question saying that the law maker who signed the impeachment motion was a member of the committee. The committee, on Wednesday had set 43 questions for grilling him but only four questions were covered. The suspended Chief Justice, in course of giving his statement, said that he was not to be blamed but all were unilaterally accusing him. Whether or not the impeachment against Rana who is under suspension for more than six months would be proved should have been concluded within three months, but discussions on the issue have been started after a long time.
