Kathmandu, 27 August: The central committee meeting of the UML is on. Presently, after reports presented by different groups, party chairman K.P. Sharma Oli is giving his reply on the issues raised by different committees.  The meeting held at Chyashal, Lalitpur, is scheduled to be concluded today.  According to Bishnu Rijal, deputy chief of the Publicity Department, the meeting has decided to launch a campaign for adding two new voters by every UML member by preserving five previous voters.  Rijal said that there are eight hundred thousand old members. Three hundred thousand new members have been added. The total of one million one hundred thousand UML members have to add two new voters each ensuring 22 votes for the party, Rijal said.  Nine groups were formed to discuss the chairman’s political document.
