The UML has been steadily stepping up its anti-coalition rhetoric outside parliament, even as the date approaches (June 26) for the opening of the tenth session of the House. UML President and former Prime Minister Man Mohan Adhikari, for example, addressing an open-air meeting at the Tundikhel last week referred to how the Nepali Congress fell into its own trap of a mid-term election that it lost to UML due to internal squabbles. Adhikari once again reiterated the charge that the three-party coalition governments had not been able to perform as the government which he headed for nine months had done.
