
Kathmandu, 12 August: The Indian police have arrested a Pakistani on suspicion of being a member of the Dawat-e-Islamic organization near the Nepal-India border, on Wednesday. A Nepali has also been caught with the suspect, according to reports.
Khajida Noor, a 25-year-old resident of Faisalabad, Pakistan, was detained by the Indian police while she was on her way to Sitamarhi, Bihar, India through the Bhittamod crossing at Jaleshwar in Mahottari. She is suspected to be a member of Dawat-e-Islami organization. Jeevan Kumar Sah of Siraha has also been arrested along with her. Security officials claim that Noor came to Nepal from Pakistan via Dubai last Saturday. The Indian police suspect that Jeevan Kumar, son of Mohan Sah, a resident of Kalyanpur Municipality 5 in Siraha, helped her to go to India.
