
Kathmandu, 12 August: Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited has provided substantial assistance including 25 chairs to a library established and operated by Senior Citizen Meeting Center at Kathmandu Metropolitan -4, Nawatol, Sukhedhara.
Jay Mukund Khanal, Hari Bhakta Sigdel, the members of Machhapuchhre Bank Board of Directors and Pratima Pandey, Deputy Head (Liability Management and External Affairs) of the bank handed over the chairs to the Nawatol Reform Committee. The bank provided the chairs to the library for the convenience of senior citizens under its corporate social responsibility.
The bank has been supporting various organizations as part of its corporate social responsibility. It has also been assisting the government during the times of natural calamities.
Machhapuchchre Bank is currently providing services to more than 1.3 million customers through 165 branches, nine extension counters, 167 branchless banking services, 207 ATMs in all seven provinces of the country.
