Kathmandu, 7 August: The CPN-UML has come forward aggressively against industrialist Binod Chaudhary, who has been active in political activities, saying that he will be a candidate from Nawalparasi in the November elections. UML politburo member Devi Gyawali addressing a training program of the CPN- UML held in Devchuli on Saturday, accused Chaudhary of misappropriating money and exploiting the state resources. He said, "I've heard that people who are in the list of the richest people in the world but are not even in the top 100 when it comes to paying taxes in Nepal are preparing to run for election from this district, they should be known." Leader Gyawali also accused Choudhary of embezzling currency and exploiting the state by taking his assets abroad by doing business in Nepal. He alleged Choudhary of evading taxes as well.
