Sri Airlines aircraft makes emergency landing at Nepalgunj
Kathmandu, 4 August: An aircraft belonging to Sri Airlines made an emergency landing at the Nepalgunj Airport this morning.
The aircraft landed at the Nepalgunj Airport within six minutes of taking off from the very Airport.
The aircraft made an emergency landing after smoke was witnessed in the cabin.
The aircraft with call sign 9 N-ANF 432 had taken off from the Nepalgunj Airport for Kathmandu with 79 passengers at 9.49 am. All passengers are safe, according to the Airlines.
The aircraft grounded at Nepalgunj Airport is being inspected by a team of technicians reached from Kathmandu.
