
Kathmandu, 1 August: The Lalitpur district court has issued an order to arrest Netra Bikram Chand, general secretary, Nepal communist Party and his other colleagues on various charges.
Besides Chand, the Court has issued arrest warrants against Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma ‘Prakand’, Mehn Bahadur Karki, Tek Bahadur KC, Bharat Bahadur Bam, Padam Bahadur Rai, Santash Budhamgar, Nabin Bishwakarma, Uday Bahadur, among others.
The Nepal Communist Party leaders, who were underground and carrying out activities against the present system, were surfaced following an agreement with the then K.P. Sharma Oli led government. The government then had assured to take back all the cases against the party leaders if they join the mainstream politics by ending violent activities.
