Kathmandu, 25 July: In the fiscal year 2021/22, from Mid July 2021 to Mid July 2022, the country has faced a trade deficit worth above 1.720 billion rupees. In total, the country has faced a trade deficit worth 1.720 trillion 410 million rupees in the recently ended fiscal year. According to the report released by the Customs Department, in the 12 months, the country’s trade deficit has inclined by 23 percent.  Compared to the previous fiscal year, Nepal’s imports have inclined by 24.72 percent.  The country’s total imports have reached 1.920 trillion 440 million rupees, which was only 1.539 trillion rupees in the previous fiscal year.  People’s News Monitoring Service
