Kathmandu, 24 July: Students close to the ruling party have sent an SMS to the parliamentarians demanding that Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari be relieved of his post. On Saturday, the students affiliated to the Nepal Students' Union, All Nepal National Free Students' Union (Revolutionary) and  student wing of CPN (Unified Socialist) All Nepal National Free Students' Union  gathered at the RR campus at the Exhibition Road in Kathmandu  and sent SMS to all MPs and people in various state agencies demanding that the governor should be relieved of his post. They have demanded that Governor should be dismissed immediately saying that a member or official of a political party cannot be a Governor. They have also warned of a strong protest if the Governor is not removed from office. People's News Monitoring Service
