Deputy Speaker’s election on July 15

Kathmandu, 14 July: The election for the vacant post of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled to be held on Friday (July 15). Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota, on Wednesday's meeting of the HoR, instructed secretary of the federal parliament Gopalnath Yogi to publish the schedule of the election  without any delay. The post of Deputy Speaker has been vacant for a long time.
