We can experience the climax of perversion in Nepal. Already, the Nepal Oil Corporation has announced that it has been bankrupt and it is unable to clear dues of the Indian Oil Corporation. The Corporation has advised the government to control the consumption of petroleum products as much as possible. The Corporation has even suggested totally stopping vehicle movement on Saturday. The government has not responded to the NOC's emergency call, which may invite an unfortunate incident. As we watched a human sea of angry people occupying and destroying Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe’s residence, many social network users remarked that the next turn for such upheaval could be in Nepal. For decades, after the nation adopted the multiparty democracy in 1990, the nation started to suffer from different anomalies. Corruption has been institutionalized and one after another national organs have been demolished. The birth of the Maoist rebellion and the launch of the “people’s war” was the result of increasing perversion in the name of democracy. The 40-point memorandum handed over by then Maoist leader Baburam Bhattarai to the then prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on 4 February 1996 speaks a lot about the people’s frustration. The Maoists capitalized on the public sentiment and launched the “people’s war”. Today, those clever and cunning Maoist leaders are in power and exploiting all the government facilities as much as possible. Unfortunately, 17 thousand innocent Nepalis sacrificed their lives and thousands of the Maoist PLAs, who were injured and disabled, are spending their lives helplessly. The nation, following the 12-point New Delhi agreement drafted and facilitated by the Indian intelligence and the South Block, adopted the present system of federalism, secularism and republicanism through a conspiracy. They said the root cause for all the anomalies was the institution of monarchy and orthodox religion. They threw away the institution of monarchy and the Hindu religion. They introduced an expensive federal structure with the plan of destroying this peaceful Himalayan kingdom in foreigners' interests. Today, the Maoist agenda of secularism, federalism and republicanism has become a white elephant for the nation and sooner or later, Nepal is becoming yet another Sri Lanka. Now, two possibilities we can expect are that we are going to lose our sovereignty, independence, and Nepali identity if we silently follow the Maoist plus foreigners imposed agendas further, otherwise, very soon, we may witness a people’s uprising against the Nepali leaders. Maybe, those leaders, who are defending the economy saying that it is okay, will run away like the leaders in Sri Lanka. Our political leaders might have gotten the message that there will be a limit on every action and the tolerance limit of the Nepali nationals is going to be ended very soon. The setting in the finance ministry while drafting the budget, the dominance of the commission agents and brokers in Baluwatar, the arms procurement fund allotted by the finance ministry at a time when the nation is heading towards an economic crisis, a silent amnesty to the criminals and traitors, all are on the record. We hope commoners will obviously stand and take action against all those involved in the crime against the nation.
