Indian ambassador designate Srivastava being received by the Embassy official in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, 25 June: Indian ambassador-designate to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava arrived in Kathmandu today to assume office. Srivastava was appointed ambassador to Nepal on 17 May. His predecessor Vinay Kumar Kwatra had returned to Delhi folwing his promotion as the foreign secretary. Ambassador-designate Srivastava was the chief of the East Asia Division before he was appointed ambassador to Nepal. Ambassador-designate Srivastava will assume office after presenting a letter of credence to President Bidya Devi Bhandari. People's News Monitoring Service
