
Kathmandu, 20 June: The Indian government officials have alleged Nepal that terrorists hiding in the Madrashas in Nepal are involved in anti-Indian terrorist activities in India.
The Indian side blamed Nepal at the joint-secretary level bilateral meeting of the “Joint Working Group” on Nepal-India international border management held in New Delhi, India.
The Indian side, ignoring different issues related to the border problems, alleged that the Madrashas in Nepal have become the venue for hiding terrorists and carrying out terrorist activities in India. Indians have tried to give religious colour on the cross border terrorism.
The meeting was held on Wednesday and Thursday in New Delhi.
From the Nepal side, the joint secretary at the Home Ministry Phanindramani Pokhrel had led the delegation and Ashiskumar, joint secretary at the Indian Home Ministry had led the Indian delegation.
At the 12th bilateral meeting on border management, the Indian side had asked Nepal for stopping such terrorist activities from taking place on the Indian side from the Madrashas in Nepal.
The Nepal side had put forward the issue of cross-border criminal activities, arms and drugs trafficking, terrorist activities, fake currency trafficking, gold smuggling, etc issues. However, the Indian side, ignoring these issues, blamed Nepal saying that the Pakistani and Afghan terrorists are sheltered in the Madrashas in Nepal.
