Kathmandu, 19 June: Three major political parties have decided to put pressure on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba for weiting a letter to the USA rejecting the State Partnership Programme (SPP).  Separate meetings of the Maoist Center, CPN US and Janata Samajbadi Party held on Saturday have decided to put pressure on PM Deuba for writing a letter to the USA rejecting SPP.  Prime Minister Deuba has expressed the view that the government would not ink the SPP deal at the meeting of the partners in the government alliance, he has not said anything about writing a formal letter to the US government regarding the issue. Chairman of the Maoist Center Pushpakamal Dahal, CPPN US chairman Madhav Nepal and JSP chairman Upendra Yadav have scheduled to meet PM Deuba asking him to write a letter to the US government rejecting SPP deal.  To end the doubt on signing on such an agreement during the PM’s US visit, the three senior leaders have decided to ask Deuba for writing a letter prior to his US visit.  People’s News Monitoring Service People’s News Monitoring Service
