
Kathmandu, 16 June: The government has blacklisted 21 construction companies that failed to work on time. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has blacklisted construction companies and suppliers who did not work as per their commitments.
Pursuant to Sub-section (1) of the Public Procurement Act, 2063, they have been blacklisted for one to three years, according to the office. Those companies will not be allowed to participate in any procurement process of public bodies till that period.
Among the blacklisted are PU Construction, Muktinath Rupesh Construction, Pravriksha Construction Services and Suppliers, Santushti Construction, Jagdamba Drilling, Usha International, Abhishek Construction Services, Arihant Infrastructure, Bhairavi Construction and Bhumiraj Roshan Construction Services, DD Construction, Dreams Construction, Shree Wild Stone Construction, Heroes Construction, Koshati Trading Concern, Mahakali Gaurav Builders, Kalika Construction Services, Rapti Construction Services, SMT Khadka Construction Services, Shiva Construction and Siddharth / Deuti Bajya JV.
