Kathmandu, 10 June: Dev Gurung, leader of the CPN Maoist Center, a party in the alliance government, has suggested Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CoAS Gen Prabhuram Sharma cancelling their proposed visit to the USA considering the security sensitivity of the country. Gurung, chief whip of the MC, said that of late, the visits of the American officials to Nepal have intensified and their mission seems to include Nepali in the American military alliance. He further said that if Nepal will join the American military alliance, it will have to face the fate of Ukraine.  To avoid such a situation, PM Deuba and CoAS Gen Sharma should cancel their proposed visit to the US, Gurung said.  Gurung, speaking at Parliament on 9 June, had expressed such remarks.
