Kathmandu, 24 May: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee is deciding the fate of  two proposed ambassadors  today. Owing to serious complaints, the parliamentary panel had withheld their approval. Although the hearing committee approved the names of 18 of the proposed ambassadors to 20 countries, the names of Basudev Mishra proposed for Sri Lanka and Ramswarth Roy proposed for Denmark could not be approved. The hearing committee has received a complaint against Mishra for taking a fake certificate and having a British residence permit, while Roy has been accused of committing financial irregularities at the Dhanusha Science Campus in Janakpurdham.
