Kathmandu, 18 May: Nepali Congress has won 179 mayor/chairman and 170 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts.
CPN UML has won 116 mayor/chairman and 116 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts.
Maoist Center has won 79 mayor/chairman and 84 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts.
Unified Socialist Party has won 5 mayor/chairman and 12 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts.
Janata Samajbadi Party has won 5 mayor/chairman and 5 deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts..
Leading:
NC is leading in 133 local bodies for the post of mayor/chairman and 112 local bodies for the post of deputy mayor/vice-chairman.
UML is leading in 86 local bodies for the post of chairman/mayor and 111 local bodies for the post of the vice-chairmen/deputy mayor.
Maoist Center is leading in 38 local bodies for the post of mayor/chairman and 46 local bodies for the post of deputy mayor/vice-chairman.
Janata Samajbadi Party is leading in 26 local bodies for the post of the chairman/mayor and 30 local bodies for the post of vice-chairman/deputy mayor.
Unified Socialist Party is leading in 15 local bodies for the post of mayor/chairman’s post and 10 local bodies for the post of deputy mayor/vice-chairman’s posts.
Loktantrik Samajbadi Party is leading in 12 local bodies for the post of mayor/chairman and 8 local bodies for deputy mayor/vice chairman’s posts.
