Kathmandu, 4 May: A bluff call from an unidentified number about placing explosives at the domestic terminal building created havoc for an hour at the Tribhuvan International Airport. The TIA officials immediately halted the domestic flights and a serch operation was conducted by the security personnel.
When the explosives were not recovered, the TIA officials resumed the domestic flights.
TIA spokesperson Prem Nath Thakur said that no suspicious item was found. “The search operation has been completed, but no suspicious items have been found,” Thakur said.
The security personnel are trying to locate the person who had made a bluff call.
