Singh becomes Nepal Police IGP
Kathmandu, 1 May: The government has assigned Dhiraj Pratap Singh as the Inspector General of Police. Singh is going to assume office as the 19th IGP of the Nepal Police.
The cabinet meeting held today at PM’s official residence in Baluatar, decided to promote AIG Singh to the post of the IGP.
IGP Shailesh Thapa has got compulsory retirement from today following the provision of compulsory retirement after completing 30 years in service.
