Kathmandu, 29 April: Five persons have been arrested for being involved in gold smuggling from Tribhuvan International Airport. They were arrested with two kilograms and 332 grams of gold  from  the Himalayan Airlines flight from Dubai to Kathmandu Among the arrested are Suman Tamang, Bhim Awale and Supervisor Tarkant Chaudhary. All three are employees of Sungabha Company, which cleans the aircraft. Airport Police Spokesperson Himalaya Kumar Shrestha said that Jesh Rai and taxi driver Hem Bahadur Thapa were also taken under control. They tried to pass the gold hidden in the toilet inside the Himalayan Airlines plane. The gold was found during a check.The five have been handed over to the Tribhuvan Airport Customs Office, Gauchar for further action. People's News Monitoring Service
