BABBLES

By Babbler In a crowd of the party candidates, Balen Shah, an engineer by profession and a popular rapper, has also filed his candidature to the post of the mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolis City. He is the attraction for the young generation people and he has claimed to bring a dynamic change on the traditional politics based on false premises and deceiving the voters every time. The crowd of the youths believe Balen will win the election. Is it possible?, let’s wait and see. We don’t know, talkative and dream drawer Keshab Sthapit will be able to capture the mayorial post but the talk of the town is that Prakashman Singh’s wife Sirjana Singh is going to defeat the mayorial election in Kathmandu. Similarly, this time, Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda is likely to be shocked from the defeat of his lovely daughter Renu Dahal in Chitwan. Let’s wait and see!   Lucky relatives Prakashman Singh’s wife Sirjana, Prachanda’s daughter Renu, Sekhar Koirala’s nephew Nagendra and Upendra Yadav’s son Amrendra are the lucky relatives of the leaders in electoral alliance contesting election to the post of the mayor. Congrats to the leaders for their selection! That's why... In 2006, the country had adopted the Maoist agenda. This is why, there is rampant loot, corruption, law-lessness, murder, rape, anarchism, impunity in the country. The country is under the grip of commission agents and brokers. QUOTES OF THE WEEK
  • Nepal's politics itself was murky. The present alliance has made it even worse!

  • Nepal needs to understand that sustainable development is possible if cement, rod, zinc and manufacturing companies are compulsorily operated from electricity; vehicles returning from the hills should not allowed to return empty-handed; and imports of grains, vegetables, fruits and meat should be banned!

  • Something is going to happen. Those lauding for an offensive jump are engaged in sharing posts for their nearer and dearer ones and those facing the blame of being the regressive elements are moving forward with a new alternate. Even now, if the people do not wake up, those froud leaders will continue to rule us ane innocent people will be the victims of the very cheaters.
Chhetri Dahal
  • Whether Nepal is facing an economic crisis or not is a matter of controversy. 20 years ago, the contribution of the industrial sector to the GDP was 9% which has dropped to 6.1% in the last fiscal year. It is to be noted that declining contribution of industrial sector means less employment opportunity.

  • If Balen (independent candidate to the Mayor’s post for the Kathmandu Metropolis Corporation) doesn’t win this election, no one should raise question about pollution, traffic jam, air pollution, unmanaged system of Kathmandu Valley. Kathmandu got the best and qualified option this time. Please utilize this opportunity. He has clear vision. Everything is in our hand.

  • The alliance effort was not satisfactory and respectable. We have not been able to create a cordial atmosphere even among the parties in the alliance. There was some arrogance in our conversation. In the meantime, listening to the expressions and attitude of some of the leaders in the coalition, it seems that one day the the debit and credit account should be settled.
Ram Kumari Jhakri
  • The pre-election alliance means cheating in the exams and by stealing the pre-agreement and declaring that I am first and you are second and sharing, enjoying power together.
Raamesh Koirala
  • We made an offensive jump but whether we reached at the brink of the cliff or in a swamp! Now the question is how to get out?
Laxman Ghimire
  • If hundreds of kings are born by throwing away one king, it will never strengthen democracy!
Sarbesh Aryal
  • The forthcoming election is a competition between democracy vs looters. If looters are not defeated, the future is dark!
