Kathmandu, 10 December: Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Thapaliya has said that preparations have been made to hold local elections within the coming April. Speaking at a program organized at Khandbari of Sankhuwasabha  today, he said that the commission has started preparations to hold the local level election within April. According to Thapaliya, this time elections will be held simultaneously at all local levels of the country. He said that  the election would be held simultaneously to reduce political convenience and administrative costs. He did not say anything about the Provincial and Federal elections.
