Kathmandu, 21 November: Due to the lack of quorum, the Parliamentary Hearing Committee meeting scheduled for today has been stalled.  The committee had called ambassadors proposed for India, the UK and the USA for the parliamentary hearing.  Committee chair Laxamanlal Karna informed that today’s meeting has been adjourned. The next meeting for the parliamentary hearing is scheduled for 3 December. There are 15 members in the Parliamentary Hearing Committee. Minimum 8 members should be present to run the meeting. Less than eight members were present at today’s meeting.  The cabinet of ministers had named Dr Shankar Sharma as the proposed ambassador to India, Sridhar Khatri as the proposed ambassador to the US and Gyanchandra Acharya as the proposed ambassador to the UK.  People’s News Monitoring Service
