Kathmandu, 14 November: Police have arrested about 50 people who were mobilized to counter the agitation of Nepal Bar Association (NBA). Police in riot gear stormed a rally at Maitighar disparging hundreds of pro-Chief Justice protesters, according to Ratopati news portal.
Two groups took to the streets to protest NBA’s agitation. While the Bar Association was organizing a protest inside the Supreme Court premises, some people chanted slogans in support of the Chief Justice. During this, there was a scuffle with the police. Some protesters, including a policeman, were injured.
