Kathmandu, 13 November: Senior Vice President of the Federation of Nepali Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Chandra Prasad Dhakal has urged the government to solve the liquidity crunch seen in the banking sector. Inaugurating the 34th Annual General Meeting and Convention of Bhaktapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday, he said that the business sector has been adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Dhakal also urged Nepal Rastra Bank to take immediate initiative to solve the liquidity crunch. "Industry has been weakened by the Covid-19 pandemic for more than two years now. It is in a state of gradual improvement. It has been hit the banking sector even harder, ”he said.He shared that the  FNCCI had drawn attention of the government to resolve the liquidity problem at the earliest.
