Kathmandu, 11 November: Legal practitioners have announced that they will not be taking part in the entire sitting of the Supreme Court tomorrow. The Nepal Bar Association made the announcement in protest of police use of force during a sit-in at the Supreme Court on Thursday. The legal practitioners will not advocate on the issue of habeas corpus in the Supreme Court tomorrow, according to the Nepal Bar General Secretary Lilamani Poudyal. Legal practitioners staged a sit-in at the apex court on Thursday at the behest of the Bar Association, demanding the resignation of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana.
