Kathmandu,11 November: Indian President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday conferred the honorary rank of General of the Indian Army to Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) of Nepal Army Prabhu Ram Sharma. CoAS Sharma was conferred the insignia amidst a special Investiture Ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, on Wednesday. On the occasion, CoAS Sharma was presented with a sword, insignia and a certificate of conferment order by the President during the ceremony, according to the Nepal Army Directorate of Public Relations and Information.
