The Bhutanese National Assembly, or Tshogdu, is being deliberately bypassed and sidelined by the Thimpu regime, says the Bhutan National Democratic Party (BNDP). In a recent press statement signed by President R.B. Basnet, it is also disclosed that the Tshogdu is being convened from today (August10) for its 73
rd session after a gap of more two year. That the BNDP states, is in violation of the constitutional provision for bi-annual sessions and more, if necessary, “under emergencies and extraordinary circumstances”
