Kathmandu, 9 November: Suman Pokharel has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Smart Choice Technologies(SCT) Ltd., the first ATM card facility company in Nepal. During a program organized at Nepal Rastra Bank,  the Deputy Governor Neelam Dhungana Timsina administered the oath of office and secrecy to  Chairman Pokhrel. On the occasion, Chairman Pokhrel expressed his commitment to be in the forefront of the development of the region by providing new services and facilities as per the policy of Nepal Rastra Bank to promote electronic payment in the development of modern payment system. SCT  was established in 2001 with the objective of facilitating payments in the banking sector. The company's services are being provided through 25 banks and financial institutions.
