Kathmandu, 8 November: India has been monitoring Nepal's airspace by flying drones in violation of international law. Helicopters, drones, or any other aircraft cannot be flown into another country's airspace without permission. But ignoring that, the Indian Armed Border Force (SSB) entered the Nepali skies of Susta and illegally took pictures / videos from the drone.
Without the permission of Nepal, the SSB on Sunday flew a drone in the sky over the Nepali territory from the number one spot of the Thokkar dam built to stop the water of Gandak Barrage at Susta Rural Municipality 5 in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat West).
Chief District Officer of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta West) Dharmendra Kumar Mishra said that he came to know that the SSB had entered Nepal by crossing the Gandak Dam. “Investigations are underway into the drone surveillance. We are also in touch with our Indian counterpart, the District Magistrate of Maharajgunj”, Mishra is quoted as saying in the media.
