Kathmandu, 8 November: Nepal recorded a total of 143 new cases of Covid-19 and 9 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 814,929 according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 11,453 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 795,822 with 425 discharges today. The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 7,654. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 87 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 26 and 13 respectively.
