Kathmandu, 5 November: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has clarified that he, as the party president, did not have any role and influence in whether to hold national convention on time or later. At a greetings exchange programme organized by NC, in Bhaktapur, Deuba said that although he wanted to hold the much-awaited 14th national convention on time, his wish alone would not do any wonder. The PM reiterated, "I also want that the national convention be held on time but the party president has nothing at his hand. It is upto the election committee that determines the date of the convention." People's News Monitoring Service
